Malnad Driving School

Malnad Driving School is located on Chamaraj Double Road, right in the heart of Mysore. If you know the area, you know how busy this road gets during the day. We’ve been teaching people how to drive here for a long time. Our office is easy to find, and we usually have our cars parked nearby, ready for the next lesson. Teaching someone to drive in Mysore traffic takes a lot of patience, both for us and the learners. We start early in the morning, sometimes as soon as the sun comes up, because the roads are empty and it’s easier for beginners to get a feel for the steering and the clutch. Later in the day, it gets more crowded, which is good practice for the more advanced students. We help people with their license paperwork too, because that part can be quite confusing if you try to do it all by yourself. The office isn't very big, mostly just a desk and some chairs where we sit and talk through the rules of the road. We don’t use any fancy simulators or anything like that; we just get straight into the car and start learning by doing. It’s a practical way to get it done, and we’ve seen so many people go from being nervous to driving confidently on these roads.
