Indra Ladies Two Wheeler Driving School

Our school is tucked away in Jayalakshmipuram, Mysore. We specifically focus on teaching women how to ride two-wheelers, like scooters and mopeds. It can be a bit intimidating to start learning how to balance on two wheels when you have never done it before, so we try to keep things very low-key. We don't have a big, flashy setup. It is just a local operation here in Karnataka. We usually meet up and go to some of the quieter streets nearby where there isn't much traffic to worry about. It is mostly about getting the feel of the brakes and the throttle. Most of the ladies who come to us are just looking to be a bit more independent so they can go to the market or get to work on their own. We have been doing this for a while and we understand that people learn at different speeds. There is no rush. We just sit with them and go through the basics until they feel steady. The office is just a place to handle the paperwork for the licenses and talk about the schedule. It is a simple life and a simple business. We like being in Jayalakshmipuram because it is a nice area. We just keep doing our thing, one student at a time, making sure they can ride safely before they head out into the busier parts of Mysore. It is just a practical service for the local community.
