Aishwarya Driving School

We are over in Kuvempunagar, specifically at 76M Block on Nrupathunga Road. This is where Aishwarya Driving School got started in this part of Mysore. We have a couple of cars that stay pretty busy from early morning until the sun goes down. Learning to drive is one of those things that makes people nervous, so we try to keep things calm in the car. It’s not a fancy office, just a small place to handle the forms and the licenses. We spend most of our day sitting in the passenger seat, watching the road and making sure the students don't hit the curb. The traffic in Mysore is getting heavier, especially around 2nd Stage, so there is plenty of practice for anyone who signs up. We’ve seen all kinds of drivers—some who pick it up in a day and others who need a lot of extra time with the clutch. We don't have any big speeches about it. We just sit there, give directions, and help people get their license so they can get to work or school. The seats in the cars are a bit worn from all the use, but the engines are kept in good shape. It’s a local business run by local people who know these streets better than anyone else. Most of our students come from the local neighborhood and we like it that way.
