City Motor Driving School

Being right near the RTO office on M G Road makes a lot of sense for a driving school, so that's where we set up. We are at number 1091 in Chamarajapuram. It’s a busy part of Mysore, but that’s actually good for students because they get used to the traffic right away. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that. It is just a few of us who know how to drive well and want to help others do the same. We take people out in the morning or evening, whenever they have a bit of free time from work or college. The cars we use are regular models you see on the road every day. We think it’s better that way so you know how a normal car feels. Sometimes the weather in Mysore gets a bit unpredictable, but we still go out unless it’s really pouring. We spend a lot of time explaining the rules and making sure people don't just memorize things for the test but actually understand why they are doing them. It’s a simple business. People come in, they practice their turns and parking, and eventually, they get their license. We’ve seen all sorts of learners, from teenagers who are excited to older folks who are a bit scared to start. We just take it slow and keep things quiet inside the car so nobody gets stressed out while they are behind the wheel.
