Vasavi Motor Driving School

We are tucked away in the Sri Krishna Bekery building over here in Chamaraja Mohalla. It is a busy little corner of Mysore. People come to us when they are finally ready to get behind the wheel and learn how to navigate the local streets. We have been doing this for a while now. Most days start early before the traffic really picks up on the main roads. Teaching someone to drive takes a lot of patience, and we see all kinds of people here. Some are teenagers who are way too excited to get started, and others are older folks who never got around to learning until now. The office isn't anything fancy to look at. It is just a practical place to handle the paperwork and sit down for a minute between lessons. We use a few different cars that have seen a lot of miles and many different students. You can often hear the bakery staff working next door while we are sorting out the schedules. It is a simple setup. We focus on the basics like how to use the clutch without stalling and how to reverse without hitting the curb. Mysore roads can be a bit tricky if you aren't used to them yet. We spend a lot of time out there in the sun. It is good work though. Seeing someone get their license after a few weeks of practice is the main thing that happens. We just keep at it day by day.
