St Francis Convent High School

St Francis Convent High School is situated at 1362/1 on Panchamantra Road. We are on the 1st Floor of the building here in Kuvempunagar, Mysore. The pin code for this area is 570023. Being a convent school, we have a certain way of doing things that has been around for many years. The school occupies the upper floor, so the students have to walk up the stairs every morning. It is a bit different from a sprawling campus, but it works fine for us. We have the classrooms lined up along the corridor. It’s a bit more compact than some other places. We get a lot of girls and boys from the families living in the surrounding blocks of Kuvempunagar. The teachers have a small room where they keep their things and have tea. We don't have a lot of extra space for things that aren't necessary. It is mostly about the lessons and the books. Panchamantra Road is usually quite busy, so there is always some noise from the street. We’ve gotten used to it over the years. The school follows a regular schedule from Monday to Saturday. We don't put up a lot of signs or big posters outside. People just know where we are located on the first floor. It’s a simple place with a long history in this neighborhood. We just do our work and go home.
