Delhi Public School

Down in Siddarthanagar, specifically over in Bugathagalli Village, you’ll find our campus for Delhi Public School. It’s a bit of a drive out for some, located at No.119/1, but that means we have a decent amount of room for the kids to move around. Mysore is a growing place, and this area has changed a lot since we first set up. We handle a lot of students every day, which keeps the staff on their toes from early morning until the buses leave in the afternoon. It’s not always perfectly organized, as you can imagine with so many children in one place, but we manage to get through the curriculum. The hallways are usually noisy during break times, and the playground sees a lot of action. We’ve got teachers who have been here for years and some who are just starting out. The school building is quite large, so there's always some maintenance work going on somewhere, whether it's fixing a leaky tap or repainting a classroom wall. We aren't trying to be anything other than a school that teaches the standard subjects. Parents come by the office for all sorts of things, from bus route questions to checking on grades. It’s a busy environment. We just try to keep things moving along and make sure the students are where they need to be. It’s just a regular part of the local community here in Mysore, serving the families around the Bugathagalli area.
