St Andrews School

You can find our school at number 216 on the 10th Main, right at the corner of 1st Cross. We are located on Kamakshi Hospital Road in Saraswathipuram, which is a very familiar part of Mysore for most locals. It’s a busy road, especially with the hospital traffic nearby, so there’s always something going on outside our doors. St Andrews School is a compact place, and we’ve tried to make use of every bit of space we have. The building itself has been through many seasons, and it has that lived-in feel that comes with years of students running through the hallways. We don’t have a lot of polished marble or high-tech gadgets; it’s mostly just wooden desks, chalkboards, and stacks of notebooks. The teachers here have been with us for a long time, and we all know the shortcut to the local tea shop for our breaks. Sometimes the traffic on Kamakshi Hospital Road makes it hard to hear, but we just raise our voices a bit and keep going. We like being in Saraswathipuram because it’s a central spot and easy for everyone to reach. It’s a regular school for regular families, and we don’t try to be anything else. We just focus on the daily tasks, like marking attendance and making sure the lunchroom is clean after the kids finish eating.
