We've been over here at the Vijaya Convent Complex on Dr Rajkumar Road for a while now. It is a busy spot in Yaraganahalli. Driving isn't always easy to learn when you're starting out, especially with the Mysore traffic, so we just try to get people comfortable behind the wheel. We handle the paperwork and the actual road practice. It is just a small office really, but we get the job done. Most people who come here are from around the neighborhood. We teach on different types of cars depending on what someone wants to learn. It isn't anything fancy. You come in, we schedule the classes, and we go out on the roads near the convent and beyond. Sometimes the gear shifts are tricky for beginners, so we spend extra time on that. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the roads well. It gets a bit noisy near the main road sometimes but that is just how it is. We keep our cars in decent shape so they don't break down mid-lesson. We focus on the basic stuff like signals and parking because that is what people struggle with most during the test. There is a lot to remember when you're first starting, but we try not to make it too stressful for anyone who walks through our door.
