Modern Driving School

If you find yourself over by Thriveni Circle in Kalyana Girinagar, you’ll likely see our cars moving slowly around the blocks. Modern Driving School is situated right opposite the RTO East in Mysore, which makes things a lot easier for the paperwork part of getting a license. We spend a lot of our day watching people try to master the reverse gear without hitting the curb. It’s a pretty quiet neighborhood compared to the city center, but it gets its share of traffic near the circle. The office is plain and functional. We keep the registers updated and wait for the students to arrive for their morning slots. Most of the people who come to us are young kids getting their first license or older folks who finally decided they need to get behind the wheel. We don't do any big advertisements. People usually just walk in because they saw us while they were at the RTO. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a regular spot in the 570019 zip code area. We have a few instructors who have been doing this for years, so they have a lot of patience, which you definitely need in this line of work. Sometimes we just sit and watch the rain through the front window when it's too wet to take the cars out safely. It’s a steady life here on the ground floor with the cars coming and going all day long.
