Mathu Mandalli College

Mathu Mandalli College is based in the Vinayakanagara area of Mysore. If you know the neighborhood, you probably know where we are. It’s a quiet enough spot for a college. The building is an older one, but it serves its purpose for the students who come here for their higher studies. We have a few different rooms for classes and some space for the staff to work. Being in Mysore 570010 means we are in a pretty established part of the city. We see a lot of the same faces every day, both the students and the people living around Vinayakanagara. The college isn't trying to be something it's not. We just open up in the morning, conduct the classes, and close up in the evening. There are usually students hanging out near the entrance before their first lecture. It’s not a huge place, so everyone kind of knows everyone else after a while. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here. Just the desks, the boards, and the books. It gets a bit warm in the afternoons, but that’s just how it is here. Most of the people who work here live nearby too. It's a very local operation. We've been here for a good while, helping the local youth get through their courses without much fuss. It is just a normal place where people come to get their degrees and move on.
