Khwaja Hotel

Khwaja Hotel is a small place located on Saw Day Road in the Mandi Mohalla area of Mysore. We are directly opposite the Dargah Masjid, which is a very busy spot especially on certain days of the week. Our hotel isn't one of those big tall buildings with hundreds of rooms. It’s more of a local spot where people come to eat and rest. The street outside is always full of activity, with people going to the mosque or the market. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen area, where the pots are always bubbling with something. The smell of the cooking travels out onto the sidewalk. We have a few tables and chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. We don't have any fancy decorations or soft carpets, just plain floors and walls that we try to keep clean. The staff here is small and we all know how to do a bit of everything. Sometimes it gets really crowded and people have to wait for a seat, but nobody seems to mind too much. We focus on getting the food out and making sure the tea is strong. It’s a simple life running a hotel in this part of Mysore. We see a lot of different faces every day and that keeps things interesting for us while we work.
