Hotel Britz

Our building is over on Vinoba Road, right near the Rajkamal Theatre in Shivarampet. It is a good spot in Mysore if you want to be close to the shops and the cinema. We have been running Hotel Britz at number 1126 for a while now. It’s a straightforward lodging house. We have rooms for people traveling on a budget who just need a safe place to stay the night. The neighborhood is pretty lively, especially in the evenings when people are going to the movies. We don't offer much more than a room and a bathroom, but we make sure the water is running and the fans work. My brother handles the morning shift and I take over in the afternoon. We see a lot of students and sales people coming through 570001. We try to keep things quiet inside the hotel, even though the street outside can get a bit noisy with all the traffic. It’s not a luxury stay, just a practical one. We don't have a big fancy menu, but there are plenty of small eateries right outside our door if you get hungry. We know the area well, so if you need to know which bus to take, you can just ask us at the desk. We are just local people running a local business. Nothing more to it than that. Most days are pretty much the same for us and we like the routine of meeting new travelers.
