M/S.Royal Orchid Hotels is located over at Sriram No 169/1 on Paduvattamma Temple Street. This is right in the Nazrabad area of Mysore 570010. Being near the temple means there is always something going on outside on the street. It’s a lively part of town. Our building isn't hidden away; it’s right there where everyone can see it. We have people coming in for rooms or just to ask directions sometimes. Nazrabad is a great location because it’s close to a lot of the main attractions in Mysore, so we stay pretty busy most months. The hotel itself has its own rhythm. We have the cleaning crews moving around and the kitchen getting started early in the morning. It’s not a silent place, but it’s a comfortable one. We don't use those scripted greetings you get at big corporate chains. We just talk to people like they are guests in our own home. Sometimes the street gets loud during temple festivals, but that’s just part of the charm of being on Paduvattamma Temple Street. We have our regulars who come back every time they are in Mysore, and we appreciate that. It’s just a bunch of us working together to keep the hotel running and making sure people have a place to sleep at Sriram No 169/1. It’s hard work but we are used to the pace of this neighborhood.
