Indian And Continental

You can find us on the first floor of the Kuvempu Trust Building. We are located on New Kalidasa Road in Jayalakshmipuram, right across the street from Chandrakala Hospital. Being in Mysore is great, it’s a city that loves its food. We do a mix of Indian and Continental dishes. It’s a bit of an odd mix maybe, but it works for the people who visit us. Some people want spicy gravy and others want something like pasta or a sandwich. We try to do both well. The stairs up to the first floor can be a bit steep, but we have plenty of space once you get inside. It’s a quiet enough area of Jayalakshmipuram. We get a lot of people from the hospital—doctors, nurses, and families—who need a break. We keep the windows open when the weather is nice. It’s just a small team here. I handle most of the purchasing myself to make sure things are okay. We don’t spend money on fancy uniforms or shiny menus. We just write the specials on a board and hope people like what we’ve cooked. It's a plain, honest place. We aren't part of some big company. It’s just a local Mysore spot where you can get a decent plate of food without any fuss. Usually, the same two waiters will serve you every time you come. It's just a regular routine for us.
