Shikari Restaurant

We are just a spot in Mysore. Most people find us because we are right there on Jlb Road inside the Royal Orchid Metropole. It is a bit of an old building, very classic Mysore style if you know the area. Chamarajapuram is usually busy, so it gets noisy outside but inside the restaurant, it is a bit calmer. We serve various dishes throughout the day. The guys in the kitchen have been with us for a long time. They know how to handle the rush. Sometimes we run out of things if it is a weekend. It happens. We don't try to be too fancy, just a place to eat and sit for a while. Usually, you see families coming in for dinner or people from the hotel grabbing a quick bite before heading out. The chairs are comfortable enough. We clean the tables as soon as someone leaves. If you are walking around Mysore and end up near Chamarajapuram, you might see our sign. We have got the usual stuff on the menu. Nothing too crazy. We try to keep things consistent so you know what you are getting when you walk in. The lighting is okay, maybe a bit dim in the evenings. It is just a regular restaurant doing its thing every day. We open early and close when the last guest is done. Some people like the old-fashioned feel of the place, and we just keep it that way without changing too much.
