Biryani Land

You can find us over on High Tension Double Road in Vijaynagar 2nd Stage. It’s a pretty easy spot to locate in Mysore since we are right opposite the SBM and that big water tank. That water tank is a real landmark for everyone living around here. Our shop, Biryani Land, sits on the 80 Feet Main Road, which gets quite a bit of traffic throughout the day. It’s a different vibe than the city center, a bit more open but still plenty busy. We started this place because we wanted to have something for the people living and working in this part of Mysore. We aren't trying to be any kind of high-end restaurant. It’s more of a casual place where you can just show up and eat. The interior is basic, with standard tables and chairs that do the job. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen getting things right. It’s a lot of heavy lifting with the rice sacks and those big cooking vessels. During the weekends, it gets especially busy with families from the surrounding residential areas. We don't have a lot of rules or a corporate handbook to follow. We just try to be nice to people and get them their food without making them wait too long. Sometimes we’re a bit slow when the crowd is big, but we do our best to keep everyone happy. It’s just a regular local business trying to make a living on the double road, and we appreciate everyone who stops by.
