Ammas Kitchen

You will find our kitchen on the Bangalore Mysore Road in the Banni Mantap area. We are very close to JSS Medical College, so we see a lot of students and staff members throughout the week. The location is on a major road, which means there is never a quiet moment outside the door. We have been operating here for a while now. The building is a simple structure and we keep the interior very basic for our customers. Our day starts early because we have to get everything ready before the college crowd arrives for their lunch break. We don't do any big promotions or online ads. Word of mouth from the students is how most people find us. The food we make is what we know how to cook best, nothing too complicated or expensive. We buy our groceries from the local markets in Mysore every few days. The kitchen can get a bit hectic when several orders come in at once, but we manage to keep up. We aren't part of a chain or anything like that. It is just a local business run by local people. We try to keep the place clean and the water filters working well for everyone. Most people just want a quick meal that tastes right, and that is what we aim to provide. It is hard work but it keeps us going day after day.
