Scirocco Restaurant

Our restaurant, Scirocco Restaurant, is over at No.129,130, High Tension Rd,2nd STG, Vijayanagar, Mysore - 570017, Madeshwara Ngr Lyt Vijayanagar. It’s a fairly busy spot, especially with the layout being right there. We have a good amount of space, so we can handle the dinner rush when families come out. Mysore is a bit more relaxed than other cities, and we try to keep that same feeling inside the restaurant. We aren't trying to win any awards for decor; we just put out tables and chairs that are comfortable enough for a long meal. The kitchen stays pretty busy from noon until late at night. We see a lot of regulars who live just a few streets away, which is nice because it feels more like a community spot than just a business. Sometimes the power goes out or the traffic on High Tension Road gets a bit backed up, but we just keep going. The menu is stuff we know how to make well, nothing too experimental or strange. We don't have a fancy website or a PR person. If the food is good, people come back, and that’s basically how we’ve stayed open. It’s a lot of hard work, standing on your feet all day and making sure the dishes are washed, but it’s what we do. We’re just glad to have a spot in this part of Mysore.
