If you head down Maharana Prathap Singh Road in the Nazarbad area of Mysore, you’ll find us at Planet X. It’s a pretty well-known spot around here because of the location. We spend a lot of time walking around the floor making sure everything is working and the lights are on. It’s a big space to look after, especially on weekends when everyone decides to show up at the same time. We usually have music playing, and you can hear the sound of people talking over whatever is happening on the screens or the machines. Maintenance is a big part of our day, fixing things that get worn out or just cleaning up after a busy night. Nazarbad is a good part of town to be in, and we get a mix of locals and people just passing through Mysore. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so we all know the shortcuts and where to get the best tea during breaks. We don’t really do fancy meetings; we just talk while we’re working to get things ready for the next group. The building has its quirks, like the occasional leaky pipe or a door that sticks when it’s humid out, but we handle it. It’s a place where people come to hang out, and we’re just the ones making sure the doors stay open and the equipment stays running for them.
