We are located right on Vinobha Road in Shivarampet, which gets pretty busy during the day. It is quite close to the Rajkamal Theatre, so we see a lot of people coming in before or after their shows. Being here in Mysore, we focus on that green donne biryani style everyone around here likes. My staff starts early in the morning getting the herbs and meat ready. It is not a very fancy place, just tables and chairs where people can sit and eat without much fuss. Sometimes the lunch rush gets a bit chaotic and we have to move fast to keep up. We have been in this spot for a while now. Most of our regulars are folks who work in the nearby shops or just people passing through Shivarampet. You can hear the traffic outside and the noise from the theatre crowds sometimes. We try to keep things clean, but it is a busy kitchen. The smell of coriander and spices is always in the air here. We just go through our day-to-day work, making sure the pots are full and the plates are going out. It is a simple life running a food spot in this part of town. We don't do much advertising; people just find us because of the location. It gets hot in the kitchen during the afternoon, but that is how it goes. We just focus on getting the food onto the tables. We close up when the food runs out, which usually happens by evening.
