Lobos Courtyard

You can find us at the Ring Road Junction in Bogadi, which is a busy part of Mysore. The courtyard is an open area that gets a lot of light, but it also gets a fair amount of dust from the 570026 ring road traffic. We have various tables set up and we spend a lot of our time moving them around depending on how many people show up. The ground is a mix of stone and dirt, and there are some plants that we try to keep watered in the Mysore heat. It is a large space, so there is always something to fix or a corner that needs sweeping. People come here because it feels a bit different from being stuck inside a building. We have a small kitchen area where the work happens, and it can get pretty loud back there when things get busy. The staff is mostly local guys who know the area well. We don't have any fancy decor or expensive lighting. It is just an outdoor spot where people can hang out for a while. Sometimes the weather doesn't cooperate and we have to move things under the covered areas quickly. We’ve been at this Bogadi - Hinkal Ring Road location for a while, and we just take things one day at a time. It’s a lot of physical work keeping the place looking decent and making sure everyone is taken care of. We often see the sun setting over the ring road during the evening shift.
