Zam Tools

Zam Tools is tucked away inside Salim Compound, which is located in the Chimat Pada area. This is all part of Andheri East, which most people know is a place full of small workshops and local businesses. We have our own little space here where we keep all our tools and various equipment. It might not be the easiest place for a stranger to find if they are new to the neighborhood, but the local folks know Salim Compound very well. We have been operating from this exact spot for a good amount of years now. The shop is usually filled with the distinct smell of machine oil and metal. We do not have any air conditioning or fancy rugs on the floor. It is a real dirt-under-the-fingernails kind of place. We spend our days sorting through our inventory and helping people find the specific tool or part they are looking for. Sometimes the shop is quiet, and other times it is a total mess of activity with people coming and going. We do not try to look like a big corporate entity at all. We are just a local shop serving the Chimat Pada community. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but that does not really affect the quality of the work we do. We mainly just focus on the tools themselves. We know our stock inside and out. If someone comes in looking for something rare or hard to find, we can usually dig it out from the back of the shelf. It is a simple and honest way of doing business. There are no big promises made here, just tools and a place to buy them. We like being part of the Andheri East area.
