Yash Estate Agent

I’ve been working as Yash Estate Agent out of Wadala for quite some time now, specifically in the Kachkarkhana Chs building, room B/305. Being near G D Am makes it a central spot for anyone looking to buy or rent something in this part of town. The office isn't anything fancy, just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of keys and ledgers. Real estate in Mumbai is always a bit chaotic, and Wadala is no different with new buildings going up and old ones being renovated. My day is mostly spent out on the streets, showing people flats or shops and talking to owners about what they want. When I’m back at the office, I’m usually on the phone or writing down notes about who is looking for what. It’s a lot of legwork, literally walking around the blocks to see what’s available. I know the local buildings and the families around here pretty well by now. People come to me because they want someone who actually knows the area, not just someone looking at a map on a screen. Sometimes deals go through quickly, and other times it takes months of searching to find the right fit for a family. It’s not always easy work, and there’s a lot of waiting around for people to show up for viewings, but I like the variety. Every day is a bit different depending on who walks through the door looking for a new place to call home.
