Yamini Vijay Chande

I’m located over at 131 Garodia Nagar, specifically at Bioasha Sadan on the 1st Main and 2nd Cross. It’s a nice, quiet part of the neighborhood, which I really appreciate after spending time in the busier parts of the city. My office isn’t much to look at from the outside, just a regular building among many others, but it’s where I get all my work done. I’ve lived and worked around this area for a long time, so I know the streets and the people pretty well. Inside, the space is a bit cluttered. I have piles of papers and folders everywhere because I’m not the best at filing things away immediately. There’s a small window that lets in some light, but I usually have the overhead lamp on most of the day. I don’t have a fancy website or a big sign out front. People mostly find me because they live nearby or someone told them I could help with what they needed. It’s a very hands-on kind of job. I spend a lot of time on the phone or sitting at my desk trying to figure out the best way to handle whatever task is in front of me. I like the routine of coming in every morning, making a pot of tea, and getting started before the neighborhood gets too busy. It’s not a corporate life, and I wouldn’t want it to be. Just a simple business in a familiar place.
