Sai Enterprises

Our spot at Sai Enterprises is tucked away in Bharat Compound. It’s behind the Sahara Hotel and right across from the Pravasi industrial area on Campwell Road in Balaganj. If you know the area, it's pretty busy with a lot of small businesses packed together. We’ve been at No. 2 for a long time. The warehouse is usually full of boxes and stock. It’s a bit of a maze inside. We deal with all sorts of supplies and equipment. Most days start with unloading a truck or checking the inventory. It can get dusty back here. My office is just a small corner with a desk and a couple of chairs. We don't have a big sign outside, just the gate. Sometimes the traffic on Campwell Road makes it hard for the delivery drivers to turn in. We know the other business owners in the compound quite well. We often share a tea in the afternoons. It’s a straightforward operation. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just call or stop by when they need something. We try to keep track of everything on paper and a bit on the computer. It’s hard work but it keeps us busy. Balaganj is a loud part of town but you get used to it. We just focus on getting the orders out and keeping the shelves filled. That's pretty much how it goes for us. No big secrets, just daily work.
