Our business is located on Abdul Rehman Street. If you have ever been there, you know exactly what it is like. It is one of the busiest streets you can find. There are people everywhere, handcarts being pushed through narrow gaps, and the sound of horns never stops. It is a chaotic place, but there is a rhythm to it. We go by the name Www.U-Mach. Com, but mostly people just know us as the shop on the street. Our space is tucked in among many others. Every morning is a struggle to get the goods in because the street is so narrow. You have to be quick and know how to move. Inside, it is a bit quieter but still busy. We have stacks of items reaching up to the ceiling. Finding things takes a bit of a memory. We don't have a fancy showroom. It is more like a warehouse where we do business. The light is dim, and the air is thick with the smell of the city. We drink a lot of tea to keep going through the day. By the time evening comes, the street is still full of people. We close up and join the crowd to head home. It is an exhausting place to work, but it is where everything happens. You get to see all kinds of people on Abdul Rehman Street. It is definitely not for everyone, but we have been here long enough that it feels like home.
