Wish Real Estate Property Consultants is based at 30/41, Bdd Chawl in Lower Parel. We are quite close to the Bawla Masjid on N M Joshi Marg. This office is just a small room where we keep our files and keys. Lower Parel has changed so much with all the new glass buildings, but we stay right here in the chawl. We don't have a big staff or a fancy reception. It is usually just one or two of us sitting here. Most of our day is spent walking around the local lanes showing people different rooms or shops that are up for rent. We know most of the landlords and the families living nearby. It is a noisy area with all the cars and people, but we are used to it. We don't use any special software to track houses. Everything is either in our heads or written down in a big register. Sometimes we just sit out on the front step and chat with the people passing by. People come to us because they want someone who knows the area well. We don't make any big promises. We just show what is available at the time. The office gets a bit dusty because of the road, but that's just how it is. It's a simple business and we’ve been doing it this way for a long time. If you walk past the masjid, you can't miss us. We stay open as long as there is work to do.
