Our office is over in Powai at the Amer Industrial Estate. We are up on the third floor of the Spectra Building. It’s a big space but it feels like a regular workplace once you get settled in at your desk. Being in the industrial estate means there is always something going on downstairs. We spend most of our time on computers or in meetings, just trying to get the work finished by the end of the day. The view from the third floor is okay, mostly just other buildings and the busy streets of Powai. People here come from all over the city, so the morning commute is always a topic of conversation in the break room. We have our routines and our projects that keep us busy. It’s not always quiet, especially when teams are trying to solve a problem together. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks, which is a bit of a disaster for everyone. We just go about our business and try to keep things moving. There are plenty of places nearby to grab lunch, which is nice. It’s a solid place to work and the building is easy enough to find once you are in the estate. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay organized. It is just a normal day for everyone working here in the building.
