Windor India Pvt. Ltd. has been operating out of Dattapada Road in Borivali East for quite some time now. If you know the area, you know it's always busy with people heading toward the station or the highway. Our building isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we get our work done. We focus on windows and doors, mostly because that's what everyone in these new apartment blocks needs. The workshop gets pretty loud when the saws are running, so we usually keep the front door pulled halfway down to keep the dust from blowing out onto the street. We’ve got a small team here, mostly guys from the neighborhood who’ve been with us for years. It’s a lot of measuring and re-measuring because nobody wants a window that doesn't fit right. The office is small and usually has a few samples of frames leaned up against the chairs. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. People just see our trucks around Borivali and give us a call when they’re renovating their flats. Sometimes we get behind on the paperwork when a big order comes in, but we catch up eventually. It’s just how things go in a place like this. We like being in the East side because it feels a bit more grounded than the flashier parts of the city. We keep things moving and try to get every job finished on time.
