We are over in Dahisar East, specifically at Gala No. 1 in the Ramani Compound. It’s right behind the Gurudwara. If you’re coming down the New Link Road, you’ll see us near Jesus School. The shop is usually a bit of a mess with scraps of aluminum and pieces of glass everywhere. We do a lot of work with UPVC and glazing, so there’s always a saw running or someone measuring out a frame. The space is tight, but we make it work. On school days, it gets pretty loud outside when the kids are going home, and the traffic on the Link Road can be a real headache in the evenings. We’ve been in this compound for quite some time now. Most of the neighbors know us. We don’t have a showroom with bright lights. Most people just walk into the workshop and find us among the piles of window sections. Sometimes we have to move things out onto the pavement just to have enough room to turn a big glass sheet around. It’s a lot of lifting and careful carrying. We have a small kettle for making tea, and that’s about as fancy as it gets. It’s a busy little corner of Dahisar. We spend the day cutting, fitting, and loading the van for the next job. It’s just us doing what we know how to do, day after day, and dealing with the noise near infront Jesus school.
