I work at Visage Fenestration Pvt Ltd. Our location is 111 in the Paras Industrial Estate, which is on Ram Chandra Lane in Malad West. Being in an industrial estate means there is always a lot of noise from machines and trucks moving around. It’s a busy environment and not very quiet. Our unit is just a regular industrial space. We have our equipment and some office desks set up in one corner. It’s a practical setup designed for work, not for showing off. Ram Chandra Lane is usually full of traffic, especially with all the deliveries coming in and out of the different estates. I’ve been coming to this same spot for a long time. The walls are a bit dusty from all the activity nearby, but that’s just how it is in this part of Malad. We spend our days managing orders and making sure the making of the actual stuff stays on schedule. It’s a lot of back-and-forth between the office area and the floor. We don’t have a fancy website or a lot of promotional materials lying around. We just focus on the task at hand and get it done. The industrial estate has a lot of different businesses, so we see the same faces every day at the tea stall nearby. It’s a hard-working atmosphere. We start our shift early and stay until the last order is done for the day. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We don't mind the noise much anymore.
