Westfield Caterers

Being located right near the National Park in Borivili East makes for a nice view when we step outside the kitchen for a break. Westfield Caterers has been part of this neighborhood for a good while now. It’s mostly just us busy with the prep work every single morning. We get the fresh supplies in early, usually before the sun is even fully up over the trees in the park. The smells of the cooking start drifting out pretty early too. It’s not a fancy setup we have here. We focus on the big stainless steel counters and making sure the crates are packed right for the day’s orders. Some of us have lived in Borivili our whole lives, so we know the shortcuts through the traffic when we’re heading out to an event. It gets stressful when there’s a big wedding or a party to feed, but we’ve learned to stay calm through the chaos. We don’t spend much time on social media or making pretty brochures. Usually, people find us because they heard about us from a neighbor or saw us working an event nearby. It’s a messy, busy, and tiring job sometimes, but seeing people enjoy the food makes it worth the sore feet at the end of the shift. We just do our thing and try to get everything right every time, even if we’re exhausted by the time we pack up.
