Holachef

Holachef is located on the lower ground floor of Khatau House, right at Plot No. 401/411 on Mogul Lane. We are in Mahim West, tucked behind the Johnson & Johnson Company building. Being on the lower ground floor means we are a bit hidden away from the main street. Our work revolves around food, so our space is basically a big kitchen. It is a busy and often humid environment with chefs and workers moving around quickly. Mogul Lane is pretty narrow, which makes it a bit of a challenge when we have deliveries coming in or going out. We have been in this spot for a while now. It is not a place where customers come to sit and eat; it is more of a production space where all the cooking and packing happens. We spend our time chopping, cooking, and cleaning up afterward. It is a lot of physical work and the kitchen is always full of activity. We do not have a fancy dining room or waiters. We just focus on the food we are preparing each day. It is a team effort to make sure everything is ready when it should be. The noise of the fans and the smell of the spices are just part of our daily life here in Mahim. We are just a group of people working hard in a basement kitchen to get the job done.
