Western India Brush Co.

Western India Brush Co. has been operating out of No. 4, Dubey Bhavan for quite a long time. We are right on Jangal Mangal Road in Bhandup West, which is a pretty crowded spot near the Abhudhaya Bank. Our workspace isn't very large, but we have managed to fit all our machinery in there. We make all kinds of brushes, mostly for industrial use or for shops that need specific tools. It is a noisy place when the machines are running, and there is always a bit of bristle hair or wood shavings on the floor, no matter how much we sweep. We started out small and just kept going, year after year. Most of the folks who work here have been with us for ages, so we all know how the old machines like to be handled. We don't do much advertising; usually, people just know us because we have been in Bhandup for so long. It is a practical business. We get orders, we make the brushes, and we send them out. Sometimes the supplies arrive late and we have to stay a bit later to catch up, but that is part of the job. It is just a bunch of us working hard in a small building to get things done. We don't have a fancy office, just a desk in the corner where we keep the ledgers. It is an honest living, and we take some pride in what we make every day.
