You can find U. Goenka Sons Pvt. Ltd. at Green House, on the 2nd Floor. We are located on Green Street in the Fort area. It’s an old part of town with a lot of history in the buildings. Our office feels a bit like that too. It’s a family-run kind of place, as you can tell from the name. We have been in this spot for a long time. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit narrow, but once you are inside, it’s a comfortable enough space. We handle various business interests from here. There is always a stack of mail waiting for us in the morning. Fort is a very busy place, so there is always a lot of noise from the street below. We have heavy wooden desks and old filing cabinets that have been with us since the start. It isn't a modern glass office. We prefer the character of Green House. Our work involves a lot of meetings and paperwork. Sometimes it feels like we are surrounded by paper. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. We just rely on the relationships we’ve built over the years. People in the area know the Goenka name. We just try to keep the legacy going by working hard every day. It’s about being reliable and showing up, nothing more complicated than that. Most of our afternoons are spent drinking tea and going through the ledgers to make sure everything is in order before we head home.
