My Doller Store

My Doller Store is located in a very local part of Mumbai, down in Prabhadevi. We are in Anaji Master Chawl No 5, specifically in Room No 98 on Khed Galli, which is off K.G. Marg. If you know Dadar and the Mumbai-25 area, you know how tight and busy these lanes can be. Our store isn't a big supermarket with bright lights and fancy aisles. It is a small, packed space where we keep all sorts of items for people to buy. We have everything from household goods to little trinkets squeezed onto the shelves. Most of our customers are people who live right here in the chawls or are just walking through Khed Galli on their way somewhere else. It gets very crowded in the evenings when everyone is out doing their shopping. We spend our time restocking the shelves and talking to the neighbors. It’s a very hands-on kind of business. There is no air conditioning, just the ceiling fans spinning and the sound of the street outside. We don’t have a website or any big ads. People just know we are here because they see the sign when they go to the market. It’s a simple life of buying and selling small things. We keep an eye on the stock and try to make sure we have what people need for their daily homes. It’s a real, hardworking Mumbai shop that stays open late.
