Achija

Achija has been around in Ghatkopar East for a long time now. We are located at Vasant Nivas, right at the Tilak Road Naka. If you find the HDFC Bank, we are just right next to it, so it's a very busy corner. Mumbai is always moving, and this part of Ghatkopar is no different. We see a lot of people every day, from shoppers to office workers. Our place is simple. We have chairs and tables and we serve food. That's about it. We don't have a big marketing team or anything, just us working in the shop. The noise from the street is constant, but you get used to it after a few years. We've seen the neighborhood change quite a bit, but we've stayed in the same spot at number 13. It gets very crowded on the weekends, sometimes there's a wait, but people don't seem to mind too much. We try to keep things moving fast. The kitchen is always busy with orders. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just cook and serve. It's a local spot where people come because they know what to expect. We've got our routine down and we stick to it every single day. Every morning we open up, get everything ready, and wait for the first customers to walk in from Tilak Road. It’s just how we live and work in this city.
