Our office is in Sindhu House on Nanabhai Lane, which is in the Fort area. We are on the third floor in units 4C and 6C. It’s a very old part of Mumbai, right near Hutatma Chowk. The building has those high ceilings and thick walls that you don't see anymore. We’ve been doing estate work here for quite a while. It’s a busy area with lots of banks and lawyers around, so we fit right in. Our work is mostly about managing estates and handling the paperwork for properties. We spend a lot of time at the registry office or meeting with clients in the local cafes. We aren't a big team, just a few people who have been working together for years. The office is full of old maps and ledgers. We like the traditional way of doing things. It feels more solid. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we end up walking up the three flights. It’s good exercise, at least. We don't do any flashy advertising or anything like that. People usually find us through word of mouth. We just try to be practical and get the jobs finished. It’s a steady kind of life. We show up, do the filing, talk to the clients, and handle whatever property issues come up. It’s not fancy, but it’s what we know.
