Vrajesh Dance Studio

Vrajesh Dance Studio operates out of Mulund East. We are located right at the Samarpan Hall on Chaphekar Ma. It is a familiar spot for most people living in this part of town. We use the hall space for our classes throughout the week. It’s not a purpose-built studio with soundproofing or anything, but it has plenty of room for people to move around. We started this because we liked dancing and wanted a place where others could join in too. You’ll mostly see kids coming in after school for their lessons and some adults in the evenings. The hall can get a bit dusty sometimes but we give it a quick sweep before we start the music. We don't have a lot of expensive equipment, just a decent sound system and some floor mats for when they are needed. Vrajesh is usually the one leading the sessions. We try to keep things simple and easy for everyone who walks through the door. It doesn't matter if someone has never danced before. We just show them the steps and let them try it out. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed and we don't worry too much about being perfect. It is more about getting out of the house and doing something active. People in the neighborhood seem to like having a place close by where they can just drop in and dance for an hour.
