Vihar Pan Houses

We are situated near Opera House in the Madivala area, which is an interesting spot because of all the different types of people moving through. The shop has a very basic look to it, with wooden shelves that have been there for as long as I can remember. We keep all the essentials lined up where they are easy to see, though sometimes things get a bit disorganized during the busy hours. The counter is usually covered with the small items people grab on their way out, and there is always a bit of dust from the road that we have to wipe away. It’s a simple building, nothing fancy at all, with some old paint peeling at the edges and a door that sometimes squeaks when it’s windy. We spend the morning setting everything out and the afternoon making sure we don’t run out of the popular items. The lighting inside is a bit dim, but it’s enough to see what we are doing. We like the way the street sounds in the evening when the work day is ending and everyone is heading back to their families. It’s a predictable life, but it works for us. We just focus on the day-to-day things, like making sure the stock is fresh and the floor is swept before we open up the next morning. It’s just how things are done here.
