Veroni Creation

At No. 19 Bhatia Chawl on Beasent Street is where you will find Veroni Creation. It is a small space where we do all our work every day. The room is tucked inside the chawl and it can be a bit hard to find if you aren't looking for the number nineteen. Most of the time the place is full of fabrics and different things we are making for people. There are two big wooden tables that take up most of the floor and we spend many hours standing there. The walls have some old shelves where we keep everything organized as best as we can manage. It gets quite hot in the afternoons so we keep the ceiling fan running all the time. Beasent Street is a busy place and there are always people walking by outside the door. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day long. Sometimes we have to move stuff around just to make space to walk from one side to the other. It is not a very fancy place but it works for what we need to do. We usually start quite early in the morning before the sun gets too strong. The neighbors are mostly other small businesses or families living their lives so it feels like a real community here. We just focus on getting the daily tasks done and making sure everything is ready when it needs to be. It is just a regular local shop in a busy part of town.
