Ashmendra Creation. We are located at Number 13/194 in Bharat Nagar, which is over in Bandra East. It is a bit of a tight squeeze in this area because there are so many shops and homes all built close together. Our place is where we do all the making and designing. We have sewing machines and rolls of fabric sitting around most of the time. There is usually a bit of dust from the threads and the sound of the machines running in the background. It is a practical workspace. We don’t have a showroom or anything polished like that. It’s just us working on the orders that come in. Bandra East is a fast-moving place and we feel like a small part of that. We’ve been at this address for a while and the neighbors know us. Sometimes we have to move stuff out to the lane to make room when a big delivery arrives. It can be a bit messy during the busy weeks. We focus on the things we are making and don't spend much time on decorations for the shop itself. The light isn't always the best, so we use extra lamps over the work tables.
