Velankanni Estate Agency

The office for Velankanni Estate Agency is located in Tarun Bharat Society, which is over in Andheri East, but we also handle a lot of things near the New Channasandra area and Kadugodi. It is a bit of a trek between locations sometimes. Our spot near the fish market in Kadugodi is always interesting because of the smells and the crowd, especially on market days. We have been in this business for a while, helping people find rooms to rent or small flats to buy. Tarun Bharat Society is a nice enough place, quite different from the bustle near the fish market. We spend our time jumping between these spots, showing houses and talking to landlords. It is a lot of legwork. My shoes wear out pretty fast with all the walking we do. We don't have a big polished team, just a few relatives and friends working together. We know the shortcuts and the landlords who are easy to deal with. Sometimes we sit in the office for hours waiting for a phone call, and other times we are so busy we don't have time to eat lunch. It is a messy, busy life, but we like the variety. People come to us because they know we are local and we don't put on any acts. We just show what is available and help with the keys and the deposits.
