Valiant Glass Works Mumbai

Working in Kalbadevi is always an experience. Our shop, Valiant Glass Works Mumbai, is up on the 5th floor of 384 M. Dabholkar Wadi. If you’ve ever been to Kalbadevi Road, you know how crowded and narrow the lanes can get. Carrying glass up five floors is never easy, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. The building is one of those old Mumbai structures with lots of history and a lot of stairs. Up here, it’s a bit quieter than the street level, which is nice when you’re trying to focus on precise glass work. We don't have a lot of extra space, so every corner is filled with tools or stacks of glass. It’s a bit of a maze, but we manage. We’ve been here for quite a long time, and we’ve seen the market below change faces many times. Most of our customers are people who have known us for years. They know they have to climb the stairs to find us. We don't do any flashy marketing; we just rely on the fact that we’re still here doing the work. Sometimes it’s hot, especially in the summer months, but we just keep the fans going and stay busy. It’s a gritty, real way to run a business in the heart of the city. We don't pretend to be something we’re not. We’re just a glass shop in an old building, trying to do a decent job every day.
