Vajaram Mistry

You can find us over at Shop No 9 in the Hilton Tower. We are right on the Andheri East Main Road, near Sher. It’s a very busy part of the city, and sometimes the noise from the traffic is enough to make your head spin. But we’ve grown used to it over the years. My name is Vajaram, and I've spent most of my life working with my hands. This shop is where all that happens. It’s a bit crowded inside because we have a lot of tools and materials that we need for our daily work. I don't really believe in having a fancy office when there is real work to be done. Most people who come here are from the local area or have been told about us by a friend. We don’t really do any big marketing campaigns. I just open the shutters early in the morning and stay until the work is finished. Sometimes that means staying late into the night when there is a deadline. The Hilton Tower is a well-known landmark, so it isn't too hard for people to find us. We try to keep things straightforward. If someone needs something done, we tell them if we can do it and how long it will take. No complicated talk or hidden stuff. It’s just a honest day's work for us here in Andheri. We appreciate the people who trust us with their projects.
