Shirish Sukhatme & Associates

Our office is located in Bhandup West, inside the Adarsh Co-operative Housing Society. We are in unit E/3 on Kokan Nagar Road. It’s a typical Mumbai residential area where people also run their businesses from home or small converted units. We’ve been part of the Kokan Nagar community for quite a bit. Shirish Sukhatme & Associates is basically just a few of us working together in this space. It’s not a shiny glass building in a corporate park. Instead, you get the sound of the local neighborhood and the occasional vendor passing by. We have our desks set up with all our files and drawings around us. The room can get a bit crowded when we have a lot of projects going on at once. Most people who come to see us are from around this part of Mumbai, or they’ve heard about us from someone else in the building. We don’t really do any big marketing, preferring instead to focus on the work right here on our desks. Getting here can be a bit of a trek if you aren't familiar with the Bhandup streets, but once you find the society, it’s easy enough. We like the local feel here. It’s a bit different from the big offices in the city center, but it suits how we work. We usually have tea together in the afternoon and keep going until late evening. It's a simple, honest way to run a professional practice without all the unnecessary bells and whistles.
