Backer Associates

Chembur is a good place to be for a business like ours. We are right by the Stadium Circle at 3 B. Backer Associates is just a few of us in a single room. We’ve got some old chairs and a big wooden table. We do all our work right there. It’s nothing special to look at if you’re looking for something modern. We don’t have a receptionist or anyone like that. If you walk in, one of us will just look up from our computer screen. It’s very informal here. We like it that way. No one has to pretend to be someone important. We just focus on the tasks we have for the day. The traffic at the circle can be a real nightmare in the evenings. We usually wait for it to clear out before we head home. Sometimes we sit around and talk about sports or the weather. Just normal things. We don’t have a big website or a social media page. Just this small office. It’s been our home base for many years now. We know the tea seller downstairs very well. He makes the best cutting chai in the area. We probably spend too much money on that every week. The windows don’t close all the way, so we get a bit of a breeze. It’s nice in the winter months. In the summer, we just turn the fans up high. We don't make big promises.
