I am based out of E-117 in the E wing over in Oshiwara, which is part of Borivali West. It is a residential area mostly so it is a bit quieter than the main markets. The room is part of a larger society and I have been using this space for a while now. It is not really a shop with a big window but more of a private workspace. I have my desk set up near the window so I can see the trees outside when I am working. There are always stacks of books and papers around because that is just how I keep things organized. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing in the hallway and you can hear them laughing. It is a very normal place to be. I do not have any staff or big signs outside the door. Most people who come here already know the address and just buzz the doorbell. The elevator in the building is a bit slow and sometimes it gets stuck on the third floor for no reason. I have grown used to the quirks of the building. In the afternoons it gets very sunny in the room so I have to pull the curtains shut. I usually make my own tea in the small pantry area. It is a simple life and I just handle my work day by day. I do not try to make the place look like a corporate office because it is just me and my work here.
