Our office is located on the first floor of the G L Compound on Sarang Street. It’s in the Powai area, which has changed a lot lately. We’ve been at 137 Sarang Street for a while now. It’s not a fancy glass building like some of the new ones you see around here. It’s just a practical space where we handle our daily business. We do a lot of international trade and sourcing for various items. Most of our day is spent on the phone or checking emails to make sure shipments are moving like they should be. It gets pretty busy, especially in the afternoons when everyone is calling at once. There are boxes and files everywhere because we deal with a lot of paperwork and samples. We aren't big on corporate meetings or long presentations. We just get the work done and go home. The team is small, just a few of us who have worked together for years. We know the couriers and the delivery drivers by their first names. Powai has changed so much since we started, but our little corner of the compound stays pretty much the same. We like the routine of it. We come in, check the logs, and make sure everything is sorted out. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Usually, people find us through word of mouth or long-standing connections. It’s an honest business and we take it day by day.
